By accessing or using the ToolProof platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service. ToolProof is an open-source software platform designed to integrate human and artificial intelligence through proof-based tools.
2. Description of Service
ToolProof provides a platform for creating, managing, and executing workflows that integrate human and AI capabilities. The Service includes tools for defining formats, types, roles, resources, jobs, and workflows within the ToolProof Cosmos ecosystem. The platform is currently in early development and is provided for demonstration and documentation purposes.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
4. User Content and Resources
You retain ownership of any workflows, resources, jobs, and other content you create using the Service ("User Content"). However, by using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- ToolProof operates under an open-source license with a transitive "Open Resource" license, meaning Resources produced by ToolProof Workflows must be publicly accessible
- You grant ToolProof a license to use, display, and distribute your User Content as necessary to provide the Service
- You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any laws or infringe upon third-party rights
- You will not create or use workflows that generate harmful, illegal, or unethical content
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Create workflows that generate content promoting harm, discrimination, or illegal activities
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates ethical guidelines or the common good
6. Intellectual Property
The ToolProof platform, including its software, documentation, and underlying technology, is provided under open-source licenses. The Service itself, including its design, features, and functionality, is the property of ToolProof and its contributors. You may use the Service in accordance with these Terms and applicable open-source licenses.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
ToolProof is currently in early development. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLPROOF AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolProof, its contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. As an open-source project, ToolProof aims to resolve issues collaboratively within the community.
14. Open Source and Community
ToolProof is an open-source project. Contributions from the community are welcome and encouraged. By contributing to ToolProof, you agree that your contributions will be subject to the applicable open-source licenses. The platform is designed to be developed collectively for the common good, with resources and workflows focused on solving problems that benefit humanity.
